Stulz-ATS Receives Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Award!
Frederick, MD, June 18, 2008 – Stulz-ATS, manufacturer of Computer Room Air Conditioners, today announced that they received the Frost & Sullivan 2008 Award for North American Datacenter Cooling Solutions Growth Strategy Leadership. The award was presented during the 2008 Excellence in Emerging Technologies Awards Banquet held by Frost & Sullivan on June 11, 2008 in San Diego, CA. The award is presented each year to the company that has demonstrated an exceptional growth strategy within their industry.
Frost & Sullivan is the world leader in growth consulting and the integrated areas of technology research, market research, economic research, corporate best practices, training, customer research, competitive intelligence and corporate strategy.
The award recognizes Stulz-ATS’s concerted efforts to enter a mature market with strong barriers to entry and post healthy growth within a record five year time period.
"By consistently posting exceptional growth annually, Stulz-ATS has demonstrated a clear vision to remain a strong and persistent growth leader in the North American market" says Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Konkana Khaund. "In less than five years the company has been able to establish itself among the top competitors that collectively account for almost 80 percent of the North American Data Center Cooling market".
Over the past five years, data center power and cooling requirements have witnessed a dramatic upsurge as requirements for processor cycles; memory and storage continue to increase in conjunction with the density of the equipment packed into each server rack.
"Reducing fan horsepower has become a critical issue towards cutting down power consumption" remarks Khaund. "Stulz-ATS’s proactive step in meeting this requirement with an intelligently designed product gave it the edge in the market to penetrate various applications successfully and in record time." Stulz-ATS introduced floor-mounted computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units with an intelligent proportionate fan control technology embedded in them to reduce fan horsepower and ensure energy efficiency. "By validating product effectiveness and demonstrating an ability to grow in a tight market Stulz-ATS has made its presence felt in the North American market in a concerted manner," observes Khaund.
“We are honored to be chosen for such a prestigious award. The growth that we have experienced over the years is a direct reflection of hard work, a focus on research and development, and the continuous efforts of our employees and corporate partners. I see this award as a confirmation of our mutual success,” said Oliver Stulz, President of Stulz-ATS. “Our company is well poised to steer through these contingent times. With our concerted initiatives towards market penetration across prospective vertical markets, we have established a niche for ourselves in the Data Center Cooling Industry.”
